Diaspark organized “Fuhaar” – An event to enjoy Mansoon

August 2010, Indore, India, Diaspark a leading global provider of IT services, has organized “Fuhaar” last week for their employees at their development centre at Indore.

The theme of this event was “Mansoon”. The whole team was divided into 16 groups. All groups were to showcase their creativity by decorating their work places and performing skit with “Fuhaar” concept. Groups came up with novel ideas like Villagers/Farmers putting up small kiosk on the highway selling mansoon catchy eatable like corn, groundnut and tea, a news channel reporting scenes of heavy rains in Indore, people enjoying at indori picnic spots, holiday in schools, dancing and singing songs to celebrate mansoon.

We at Diaspark realize the underlying importance of “Teamwork” and keep organizing events that help to enhance teamwork spirit. The “Fuhaar” just before the Independence Day is one such event. This is an event to involve members of different teams to show their creativity and rejuvenate. The workplace has turned into an art centre and the teamwork to showcase the best in creativity is worth clicking.

On this occasion Diaspark invited Mr. Abhay Chhajlani “Padmashri award winner” and President of editor board member in Naidunai Newspaper as an honorary guest and Mr. Amit Ganjoo & Mrs. Naveena Ganjoo – well-known names from education & art community as judges for this event. First prize went to Pankaj Gupta & team, second to Praveen Mandpe & team. Two consolation prizes went to Paresh Goyal & team and Mayank Ashava, Sunita Kishnani & team.

“The Pill Phone” Mobile Application catches eyes at CTIA WIRELESS 2010

The Pill Phone; an innovative application by VOCEL Inc. impressed many visitors during recent CTIA 2010 Wireless Exhibition from March 23rd-25th at Las Vegas, Nevada US. Diaspark Inc. provided technology services for the design and development of this Healthcare Mobile application. “The Pill Phone”.

The medication reminder application, reminds patients to take medication. It is available on many wireless handsets through several carriers and has already been cleared by the FDA. With nearly 90 percent of Americans as wireless subscribers, the mobile applications are becoming valuable tools in the lives of consumers. A pill reminder may seem simple enough, but for patients, which are prescribed multiple medications, or for the elderly person, medication at the right time, in the right dose, means life or death.

For the cricket lovers and mobile savvy fraternity, Diaspark successfully launches "T20 Cricket Fiesta" on iPhone & Blackberry platform.

Cricket Fiesta will keep you in touch with the most famous T20 tournament by letting you access schedules of upcoming matches, event calendar, team roster, team standings, preferences to select your favorite team etc. It also lets you make your dream team.

Event Calendar displays the matches along with the Group's Information. Team Roster provides team and player's record in T20 and ODI. Team standings indicate standing of various teams in the ongoing tournament. Updated score lets you catch the score of the ongoing matches.
