Diaspark India Organizes Treasure Hunt “Search DEAD KING'S TREASURE”

Celebrating India’s Independence month, the HR team of Diaspark initiated an exhilarating corporate team building event titled - “In search of the DEAD KING'S TREASURE," a mind-boggling treasure hunt. The theme for the hunt was “Revolution & Independence”.

Primarily, all the members of Diaspark’s team were divided into 9 groups and each group was given the names that radiated the theme. Briefing for the game’s rules and regulations were done, which helped the groups understand the clue chain method of the treasure hunt. Each clue was connected with a Freedom fighter, and the chain went on connecting the final clue. The team that collected all the eight clues in least amount of time was declared the winner.

The Treasure Hunt was a fantastic experience; everybody had loads of fun. “The Azad Hind Fauj” group managed to get through all the eight clues and was awarded the exciting prize - Free movie tickets for the whole group. The excitement lasted for 3-4 hours only but was a topic for the whole week.

The study presents a comprehensive evaluation of differences between two genders and how it affects the performance of an organization. The research broadly analyses the gender- performance relationship between two states in India viz Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh and also investigates whether there are any significant differences between male and female in the way performance is perceived in business organizations. “The findings were extraordinary and have been acclaimed by a large audience. As many as 205 people responded to this questionnaire thus making the findings more significant.”

Diaspark introduces innovative style of greeting via Android’s “Fancy Bouquet” Apps

Managing Volatility through HR Initiatives

Shishir Deshmukh, AVP - HR & Recruitment at Diaspark shared his views on ‘Managing Volatility through HR Initiatives’ during a conclave at Sanghvi Institute of Management and Science, Indore (MP) India

Undoubtedly, the acceptable reasons of Volatility have changed over the years. The average job period of a person has decreased from 10-12 years to mere 2-3 years. The reasons are obvious -India’s increasing job market and domestic industry growth, wide range of career options and multinationals making investments in India as a hub of managing their global operations.

Shishir says, ‘Volatility in applied industry is somewhat similar to stages in a product’s life cycle that undergoes launch, growth, maturity and decline. HR needs to manage this element at all the stages with different initiatives considering this stage vis-à-vis business landscape.’ He added that HR needs to use “C” factor efficiently to manage volatility – Communication, Care, Connect and Correction.

Communication is the most powerful tool to keep connected and understand your resources. Care the right and efficient employee via augmenting their knowledge, awarding and recognizing their contribution. The whole system should support to retain the right and efficient candidate. In a highly competitive world inefficiencies should be eliminated by taking appropriate actions.
