| Setup |
|
The Diamond & Stone Inventory Setup allows user to set up stone parameters, lot master, stone set category etc. These setups are used to record transactions in the Diamond & Stone Inventory module. |

Stone Parameter |
| |
Parameters can be set for the stones that are to be kept in stock. This has 7 parameters in different tabs namely Stone, Shape, Quality, Setting, Color, Clarity and Make. |

Stone Lot Group |
| |
From this screen user can create groups for similar lots. |
|
Stone Lot Master |
| |
The stones that have similar shape and quality are put together in a particular group called lot. Each lot is provided with a unique id or code. Lot Master setup helps users to define different lots of diamond/stone received by the diamond department. |

Pearl Lot Master |
| |
Pearls of similar shape and quality are put together in a particular group called lot. Each lot is provided with a unique id or code. Lot Master setup helps users to define different lots of pearls. |
|
Stone Packet |
| |
In this option packets are created containing stones. Stone packet contains details about the characteristics of each unique packet like clarity, color, lot and sub lots used, along with details of certificates issue from the laboratory. |

Stone Set Category |
| |
With the help of this setup user can define categories for stone sets. Stone sets of similar properties can be categorized. |

| Transactions |
| This section helps user to create and maintain different transactions available with Diamond & Stone Inventory module |
|
Receipt |
|
Receipt is used to record all the purchases that user makes from various vendors and all the sales returns. Receipt transaction enables to capture several details while receiving items. |
|
Issue |
|
Issue is used to record all the sales that user makes to various customers and all the purchase returns to vendors. Issue is also used for internal issue of diamond / stone to workbags. There are several details that can be stored in the window for issue of diamonds /stones. An issue transaction can be generated for the diamonds/stones returned to the vendor as the purchase return and for opening balances. |

Transfer / Lot Mixing |
|
User creates a Transfer to transfer stock of one or more diamonds/stones to some other item or from one location of business to another location.
In such transaction stock is transferred from one location to another without affecting total inventory.
Transfer option is also used, if adjustment includes both receipt and issue. |

Diamond Set Create |
|
This feature provides user with the facility to create diamond set by mixing various diamonds from different lot. In such transaction stock is transferred only from lot to diamond set |
|
Diamond Set Break |
|
With the help of this option user can break a diamond set. In this transaction stock is transferred from diamond set to lot. |
|
Lab Memo |
|
Lab memo is prepared when diamonds / stones are sent for testing/certification at Lab. |
|
Physical Inventory |
|
This option provides user with the facility to enter, adjust and post physical inventory data. |
|
Stone Track |
|
With the help of this option user can track details such as in hand, memo quantity, sales memo quantity etc of diamond and stone. |
|
Item Track |
|
With the help of this option user can track stock of an item. It shows item id, open purchase & sales order for item, inhand, shortage quantity etc. |

|
Receipt Register |
| |
This report gives all the details of receipt transactions recorded. It shows Lot id , number of pieces received and their amount. |

Issue Report |
| |
Issue report gives user a list of all the issue transactions recorded through Issue option. It shows details of diamonds/stones issued such as lot id, number of pieces, unit, their price and amount. |
|
Transfer Report |
| |
With the help of this report user can have detailed information for transfer transactions done. |
|
Activity Report |
| |
This report shows all the activities of diamonds/stone in regard to stock, memo, receipts, issue and in-hand quantity. This is very important report to watch any discrepancy in the stock with physical inventory. |

Stock Report (Backdated) |
| |
This report is helpful in getting stock details along with the purchase memo, sales memo and in hand stock details in a specified time period. The report shows backdated report e.g. if user wants to know the stock report as of Jan 1, 2007 then he can use this report to view backdated report. |

Stock Report |

With the help of this report user can get the current status of the stock. User can also define the criteria for getting the details of any particular lot. |

Summary Report |

This report gives user a summarized view of a style / lot in regard to its opening balance, purchases, sales, transfer and closing balance. |

Stock Valuation Report |

With the help of this report user can evaluate value of stock with different types of methods.. |

Physical Inventory Report |

This report gives user details of physical inventory of lot, stock variance and adjustments made. |

Physical Stock Variance Report |

With the help of this report user can know physical stock, current stock (at system) and their difference. User can know stock variance of a lot. |
