| Setup Section has been provided for maintaining all the masters related to Accounts Receivable module. |

Customer Category |
| |
This setup let you define different categories of customers. Customer can be an associate also. With the help of this screen user can enter and retrieve a list of customer categories along with their basic information about discount %, terms of payment and GL accounts. |

Customer |
| |
The customer can be defined here by providing an ID. This Id stays unique to that particular customer. Related details like the contact person and the customers' contact number and address can be stored. |

Payment Terms |
| |
Each individual payment term can be related to a unique ID. This ensures that while preparation of the invoice the user does not have to type out the terms again, since he has to just pick the appropriate "payment term" from the ones entered at this feature. |

Message |
| |
The standard messages that may need to be sent along with the documents can be entered using this setup. Similar to the above features each message has a different ID. |

Ship Via |
|
This contains a list of the mode of shipment to be used for delivery of the consignment to the customers. |

Sales Person |
|
With the help of this setup information of sales persons along with their commission structures can be added. |

Customer Invoice |
|
Invoices are generated whenever a sale Invoice is made. One Sales Invoice may be divided into several Customer Invoices depending on the payment terms. To get the most from tracking Accounts Receivable, enter the invoices as soon as the transaction takes place. |

Customer Receipt |
|
When you receive customer payments, you record the payments through Receipts and apply them to Invoices. You can apply a customer's payment to a specific Invoice or to several invoices. Outstanding invoices are cleared on FIFO basis. |

Customer Credit Invoice |
|
In certain cases when you have to pay to your customer, resulting out of advance payment from customers or sales returns or any other reason because of which in your books, customer has a credit balance, you issue a credit invoice to customer, implying that you have to pay some amount to the customer. Every Sales Credit Invoice is posted as Customer Credit Invoice in Accounts Receivables. |

Customer Credit (Negative) Invoice |

A Customer Credit (Negative Invoice) is recorded whenever a customer returns purchased goods or services. To get the most from tracking Accounts Receivable, enter the negative invoices as soon as you receive them. |

Apply Customer Receipt |
|
Through this option you can adjust advance receipts, payments received from customers, account for discounts and view unadjusted balances against invoices, which have been posted to the General Ledger or have been made View Only. |

Apply Customer Credit Invoice |
|
Through this option, you can adjust credit invoices and view unadjusted balances against credit invoices, which have already been posted to the General Ledger or have been made View Only. |

Customer Invoice Payment Query |
|
At this screen user can only query on the active fields to display details of invoices as per search criteria. No additions or modification scan be made to data displayed at this screen. |

Update Customer Balance |
|
This option allows you to update the customer balances after payments have been received from customers or have been made to customers. |

Make Transaction View Only |
|
Transactions are made view only through this option. No changes can be made to the transactions. This provides a security to data entered. |

| This feature helps user to prepare reports based on a wide range of selection criteria and Find out how much your Customers owe you by keeping a close eye on his transaction. It also helps you collect overdue invoices and improve your cash flow |

Customer Invoice Register |
| |
The Invoice Register report prints a list of all the invoices that you record through Customer Invoice option. This is a register or a list of all the invoices that have been issued to all customers |

Customer Receipt Register |
| |
The Customer Receipt Report prints a list of all the receipts that you have recorded through Customer Receipt option. |

Customer Credit Invoice Register |
| |
The Customer Credit Invoice Register prints a list of all the Credit Invoices issued by user. |

Customer Statement |
| |
This report gives history, nature & status of the transactions made with each customer. This is required by the customer to know his complete transaction with us in our books. |

Customer Ledger |
| |
The Customer Ledger report prints details of all the transactions with customers. For e.g., details of Invoices, details of the payments that customer has made or credit invoices that you have issued in favor of the customer. The statement prints all the details together and shows the current status of each customer as to what is due from him. |

Customer Exposure Report |
| |
This report shows assets (order & invoice) and memo transactions with the customer. |
 |
Customer Open Invoice Report |
| |
The Customer Open Invoice report prints details of all the outstanding invoices i.e. the invoices for which the payment has not been received or partially received. It helps to analyze status of invoices and list of debtors. |

Summary Customer Activity |
|
This gives a one line summary of each customer with details of the credit limit assigned to each and the available balance of credit that they are eligible to use .This can be useful to check when a customer asks for more goods but may have not cleared the earlier outstanding. |
